Introduction:

Visitor Visa: A temporary residence visa required by Chinese citizens visiting Canada for short-term study (less than 6 months), tourism, or family visits. Typically, applicants need to emphasize different application points based on their backgrounds. Policy:

Visa Validity: Up to 10 years, depending on travel reasons and personal documentation, applicants may receive a multiple-entry visa with the same validity as their passport.

Maximum Stay per Entry: 180 days.

Interview Requirement: No interview required.

 

Documentation:

Passport: Valid for at least six months.

Photos: Two passport-sized photos taken within the last six months (3.5CMX4.5CM, white background).

ID Card: Copy of both sides.

Marriage Certificate (if applicable): Copy.

Household Register: Copy of all pages for individual register; for collective registers, provide the cover page and personal page.

Financial Proof: Bank statements for the past six months + half-year transaction history. Other assets such as property deeds, vehicle registrations, company ownership, stocks, and shares.

Family Visit Visa (in addition to the general tourist visa documents):

Invitation Letter from Canadian Relatives/Friends (must include inviter's name, address, phone number, purpose of invitation, etc.).

Proof of Inviter's Identity:

Canadian Citizen: Copy of the first page of the Canadian passport or copy of the Canadian citizenship certificate.

Canadian Permanent Resident: Copy of the first page of the passport + front and back of the Canadian Permanent Resident Card.

Non-Citizen and Non-Permanent Resident: Copy of the first page of the passport, copy of the Canadian visa page, copy of study permit or work permit (if the inviter is a student, also provide: admission letter from the school, copy of student ID, etc.).

Proof of Inviter's Financials: If the inviter has income, provide six months of bank statements/T4/employment certificates showing income details.
